John M. Singleton is a graduate of Hunter College, City University of New York, New York City, N.Y. in Psychology, Cum Laude and the Antioch School of Law, Washington, District of Columbia, J.D., graduating with Honors. His bar admissions include Maryland, 1980; U.S. District Court District of Maryland, 1980; U.S. Court of Appeals 4th Circuit, 1982; U.S. Court of Appeals District of Columbia Circuit, 2001; and U.S. Supreme Court, 2002.

Michelle Daley
Attorneys Michelle Daley handles general practice issues such as general civil litigation, family and domestic relations, criminal defense, business law, real estate, and construction law. Practicing since 2004, Ms. Daley graduated from the Emory University School of Law after receiving her undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland. Prior to starting her own firm, Michelle was an associate with the commercial litigation department of Shulman, Rogers, Gandal, Pordy & Ecker, P.A. in Potomac, Maryland and the construction litigation boutique of Braude & Margulies, P.C. in Washington, DC.
Ms. Jessica Phillips is a 2011 graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law and has past experience working for State agencies and other firms in family and domestic relations matters. Both Michell Daley and Jessica Phillips have offices in the same office suite as the Singleton Law Group and is available to assist you with your general legal matters by appointment handled through Mr. Singleton’s assistants.
Karen Authement
Karen M. Authement has been in the legal profession for over 18 years and has extensive experience in complex personal injury matters, family law, foreclosure and debt collection. Ms. Authement worked as a paralegal in a Plaintiff’s complex personal injury and medical malpractice firm for 9 years while completing her Bachelor degree and law degree in the evenings. Ms. Authement graduated with honors in the top 13% of her law school class. After working as a Managing Associate for a foreclosure and debt collection firm for five years, Ms. Authement is excited to return to helping individuals protect their rights. Ms. Authement stays on top of the current issues and changing laws with continuing legal education seminars on a regular basis. Flexible appointments are available for evenings, weekends, and house calls when injuries prevent client from traveling.
